animation of final sketchup model

this is the first animation, showing the external and the internal view of the gallery.

this is the second animation, showing the upper and side section of the model.
it is shown that there are the fan-shaped stairs, semicircle ramp, and also the stairs of the entrance.

this is the third animation, shown the area of the studio for both artists.
the first one is patricia piccinnini's studio, near the entrance, under the stairs. this enable her to draw inspiration from the people coming in and out the gallery space, as her artworks mostly referred to human figures.
the second studio is richard goodwin's. it is located at the back near to the gallery space, as to make it easier for goodwin to move his artwork from the studio to the gallery. as can be known, goodwin's artwork are always abstract, and produce awe among viewers. thus, by making his studio invisible from people, his upcoming artworks will produce a surprise when it is finished, as nobody will be seeing it beforehand.

zaha hadid's project

this a video of zaha hadid's project called KAPSARC

The project shown how the design blend in with the surroundings.
as the project are to be built in a desert area, it takes into account the colour choice, and most importantly the air ventilation for the site.

final sketchup model

the section of the model
as been illlustrated, the entrance to the gallery is the blue stairs going down, as the entrance is situated on the lower ground level.
then, the gallery spaces go up in a clockwise direction, with a semicircle ramp at each end of the spaces.

the front view of the model
showing the entrance to the gallery area

stair 1
this is the fan-shaped stairs to connect the first to the second level.
it is designed as it is to enhance the aesthetic value and adding more artistic approach of the model.

stair 2
this is the stairs going down to the entrance.it is simple but the material used for the stair is not opaque, as below it is the studio for patricia piccinnini, as for her to view the people moving around the stairs, to draw inspiration for her next artwork.

stairs

after reviewing both models, model sketchup 1 is chosen to be developed
and based on the model sketchup 1, section of stairs are designed

these are the sketches of stairs to be used in the sketchup model 1

sketchup 2

this is another model developed based on the same combination of words as the first model
